Macarena Hernández:English or español?
The age-old national language debate is unnecessary
All this talk about making English the official language gives me a sense of déjà vu. Oops, my bad, that's French. What's English for déjà vu?
See, we've been having this conversation for centuries. Back in the late 1700s, President John Adams was talking about the need for a unifying language, understandably, for a young country that virtually lived in isolation.
